Understanding the terminology:
TTS ("text to speech") is the technology you will work with (when the neural network generates audio from text). QA is the final review of the film. Voice ID is a code that allows the neural network to generate sound with a specific tone, intonation, etc. Project Prompt is a prompt for the neural network, you do not need it for your work.

Key points:
Be sure to keep the three dots that you see in the English text in your translation. This is how pauses are marked, and this is the only way the neural network will make them in the generated audio.
It is recommended to adapt names, surnames, and toponyms that may not be pronounced correctly. For example, in Spanish, if you need the neural network to pronounce the name Rose as "Rous", it is recommended to write this name everywhere as "Róus". Names, surnames, toponyms, titles, etc. should be pronounced the same way throughout the film.
The neural network is multilingual, but within a block (segment) it perceives the prevailing language as the main one. For this reason, it is recommended to "transcribe" names, surnames, etc., so that the pronunciation is the one you need.
Abbreviations and numbers (and currencies) also need to be written as words or transcribed so that they are voiced correctly by the neural network. For example, not "$2", but "two dollars", not Sr., but señor.
Regarding the names of stores, companies, etc., you need to decide whether to translate them or leave them in English. The most important thing is that the same store has the same name throughout the film. Names that are important for the plot should be translated. For example, a bar which name is mentioned only once can be left in English (if it sounds authentic in the target language), but a company which name must be understood by the audience should be translated.
Profanities and swear words are allowed. It is necessary to convey these meanings in the same way as in the original film, without deliberately softening them.
Pay attention to the use of the formal and informal address in the target language (like tú and Usted in Spanish). You need to decide how the characters address each other, but this should depend on the context of their relationships. If the characters are friends, it is logical that they address each other informally. Also, please pay attention to this throughout the film so that the characters do not start addressing each other formally or informally for no reason if before they were addressing each other in a different way.
Films in this project will not have subtitles (only very rarely, if we convince the client that they are needed, but it's quite difficult). Therefore, all phrases that you see on the platform will be voiced. If you think that a phrase is missing somewhere, please contact your manager. If you think that the speaker is indicated incorrectly somewhere, please also contact your manager.
This project requires dubbing. This means that all original noises will be left, but all original voices will be replaced with the translation, the original voices will not be heard. This also implies that the length of the generated audio track should match the length of the original one, that is, the translation may require some additional changes after the sound is generated. You don't have to adjust the audios for lip-sync, but the length of the original phrase and the generated audio should coincide.
The translation is saved on the platform automatically one second after the text is changed (the segment will be highlighted in green).
Writing numbers.
While correcting AI translations before voicing them, please write all numbers in words, and not in digits (i.e.: not '5', but 'Five')! It is done to minimize the amount of possible errors made by the AI-voiceover-engine - otherwise, AI can confuse numbers and even create non-existent ones.
Note that, in the original English text, all numbers are already written in words in order for AI to translate them in the same manner. If you see that there are actual numbers (digits) in the translation you're correcting - replace them with words. If numbers are already written in words, don't change them, that's how they're supposed to be.

Saving your translation
Now when the translation is saved on the platform, you will see the word Saved written in the upper right corner of the segment. If some issues arise on the platform, and the translation is not saved for some reason, you will not see this word.
Note for German translators: unfortunately, this project requires dubbing, which means that many phrases will have to be greatly shortened and simplified.
Note for Spanish translators: If "No" or "Entendido" appear alone in a segment (i.e. the entire segment is "No."), it is highly recommended to put double signs there (¡No!), otherwise in 99.9% of cases you will hear the English "no" and the Portuguese "entendido".
Finishing working with translation (for new freelancers, "Gray" and "Red" Categories)
After the translation is done, you need to write to the manager about it, and we will generate the sound for you, and then you can move on to stage 2 (working with the generated sound).
